What is grief support? Healing takes time, it can be overwhelming and isolating but you do not have to it alone. In grief support the emphasis is on working together to process the different aspects of grief and the challenges you are experiencing. Grief support is not only following the death of a loved one but can be of great help following a divorce, a break-up or major setback in your life. The sessions focus on your personal needs, emotional as well as your spiritual needs as you navigate the physical, social and cognitive facets which often surface following a significant loss. Exploring gentle self-care practices to help you make the changes you need and live a fulfilled life is one of the main strategies we will explore during the sessions.
How does it work? We start with a free 30-minute initial consultation to meet and see if we are a good match. Once you have decided to work with me, we plan in our first one-hour session. The sessions are based on your own personal needs and goals. We will meet once a month online or in person for one hour. You will also receive email contact and support in between the sessions, and these are agreed in advance based on your needs and preferences. Organising your space after a loss Having to sort through your loved one's possessions after a loss is exhausting emotionally but you do not have to do it alone. When you are ready to go through your loved one's possessions, we go at your pace. Being with someone to help you sort through things can reduce the stress you are facing. Healing Hearts Online Community - A Free Online Community Grief can be isolating but you do not have to grieve alone. We are told many times that grief is a unique journey with no define timeline. However, there are ways to work through your grief which will empower you and help you face the future with more clarity. Join our community of grievers who meet on a regular basis to explore the many challenges loss brings to our doorsteps. We meet exactly where you are on your grieving and healing journey. There is no pressure to share if you do not feel like sharing.
